“I do what I teach. I do it every day. And I love what I do.
I have no secrets. I share everything I know.”
I have been making my living as a professional voice over artist for nearly 20 years and am best known as the 15-year signature voice of AMC Network and for voicing THOR and HULK for Marvel animation projects. I can also be heard as numerous bad guys on popular video games series such as GOD OF WAR, STARCRAFT and BATMAN ARKHAM.
Most of what I learned about the voice over, I picked up on the job, which often came at a price: embarrassment, low confidence, and even the loss of work. With the help of educators I love and trust, I have organized all that I learned about voice over, built curricula and lesson plans, and now I share what I practice.
When not in the studio, you can find me indulging in my favorite hobbies: fitness and cooking. I live in Culver City, California with my wife, two boys, and faithful pup, Pebbles.
Greg is a veteran of the advertising industry, having produced music for commercials for well over a decade. Greg's music has been featured on the 2015 Emmy Awards, Saturday Night Live, Netflix's Michael Bolton Sexy Valentine's Day Special and I Think You Should Leave, numerous reality shows, and hundreds of mobile game soundtracks.
Music and performing were always a big part of Greg's life growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, where he began playing piano at the age of six. His love for the arts continued to develop during his undergraduate years at Stanford University, where he directed the Stanford Fleet Street Singers, an all-male acapella group, served as vocal director for student theater productions, and performed as the very first musical improvisor for the Stanford improv group, the SIMPS.
After moving to Los Angeles, Greg worked at Dreamworks as a computer tech while pursuing creative opportunites in the Los Angeles theater scene. He worked on several productions at East West Players before finding himself at the Kodak Theater as the musical director/conductor of The Ten Commandments, a stage musical starring Val Kilmer.
Shortly after the closing of The Ten Commandments, Greg was brought on to music direct Eric Whitacre's Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings at the Boston Court Theater in Pasadena. He was then given the opportunity to perform with the show on the stages of Carnegie Hall, The Auditorium Theater, and Disney Concert Hall. For his work on Paradise Lost he was nominated for an L.A. Ovation Award and also received the Backstage West Garland award for Best Musical Director.
Greg is a huge believer in aromatherapy.
Not so long ago, word got out that you can make “big money” in voice-over simply by talking into a microphone for a only a couple minutes. Soon, it seemed everyone and their uncle wanted to be a voice over artist.
Unfortunately, without training, thousands of novices end up lost, forgotten, and not a penny richer among the sea of voice over performers out there. In fact, many people actually lose money by purchasing the wrong microphones, unnecessary demo reels, over-complicated recording software, etc.
Like any performing art, voice over is a craft that requires study. We can supply you with the practical and proven tools to help you go from casual enthusiast to working professional, so you can be competitive and book work.
1-on1 sessions are available in 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes. Workouts are 2 or 3 hours and Workshops can be 3 to 6 hours.

We strive to answer your emails and calls within the same business day, but it may take an extra day or two depending on the volume of work we have on a particular day and if we are finished watching cat videos on YouTube.
The number of sessions will depend on your prior experience with voice over and how much information you can absorb and apply during each session. That number is different for everyone. It is our desire to make sure you can accomplish your goals with as few sessions as possible so you can get out there and book, book, book!
